Our words are very powerful, and are creating our future. They are not just a bunch of noise or harmless comments or jokes. In the Word of God, there is much teaching about the words we say and how we say them. I encourage you to turn with me in your bibles, as you read the rest of this blog.
This is a word planet, created by words. This is proven in Genesis chapter 1, the creation story. We read in Gen. 1:3, "And God said, 'Let there be light': and there was light.'' Gen.1:9, "And God said, 'Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let dry land appear, and it was so.", and Gen. 1:24, "And God said, 'Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so." And God said, and God said and God said..... over and over in Genesis chapter 1. He has put that same creative power in our mouths. That is how we exercise dominion over the earth. This is that same authority, God gave to man. Proverbs 18:20-21 [amp.] says, 'A man's (moral) self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied (whether good or evil). Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it (for death or life).' We see very clearly here, that it is our mouth that creates our life, present and future. It is not the economy, not politicians, not family members nor friends; but our own words. Galatians 6:7 says, 'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.' Sowing and reaping is a universal law. For example if someone says, "This time every year I have the flu, and will be miserable for three weeks." Sure enough at that time of year they will get the flu for three weeks, and be miserable. You are the prophet of your own life! Words create the atmosphere around you. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to sense when strife filled words have been spoken in a place. Likewise we can also sense when peaceful and loving words have been spoken. Be aware of the words being said around you. Words paint a picture on the inside of your heart (or spirit). For example, the news media is filled with negativity; is it no wonder people walk away feeling anxious or angry after listening. However you can use words to create a positive atmosphere and blessing instead. When the kids start having challenges in their school work, do not speak the problem. Do not say, "What's wrong--, why can't you figure it out kid?" Instead speak the solution and say, "My kids are quick, sharp and bright according to Isaiah 11:3." And watch those grades come up. Proverbs 23:7 says, 'For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he ...' What one thinks is what they say. What you say is what you believe. What you believe is what you do. What you do is who you become. What is inside, will eventually be seen on the outside. So check up on what you are saying, and ask yourself, "Do I really want that to happen?" In Matthew 12:34 Jesus said, "...for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." In fact, read and meditate Matt. 12: 33-37. God created the world and universe with words. We create our world with our words. What we need is to become full of the Word of God. In John 6:63 Jesus said, "It is the spirit that quickenth; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life." As you speak the word of God, those words will begin to produce a new life on the inside that will be seen on the outside. Jesus says in John 10:10 [amp], "......I have come that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)." Therefore we have a role to play in how much of this abundant life we experience day to day. We have to believe and speak the Word of God out of our mouths or no abundant life. Here is something you can say right now, "The Lord shall increase (me) more and more, and (my) children" -Psalm 115:14. Remember, God is on the positive channel! So change the words that you say. You have the power to do so. Blessing and life is right underneath your nose.

On Monday January 4th, I was in prayer and had this vision.
I saw a very large tree being violently shaken. All the dead branches, leaves, and fruit fell to the ground. Then the shaking stopped. The branches that were left, were covered with green bulbs and saplings. As if this tree was about to burst back to life! Allow the Lord to reveal to you its meaning (Hebrews 12:27).
